We are seeking a proficient part-time **Compost and Soil Operations Specialist** to support daily functions and special initiatives at our soils and composting facility. Contribute to our mission of sustainability and conservation. Key responsibilities include:

  • Transporting materials throughout the facility
  • Engaging in soil mixing, composting, and weed control
  • Upholding the visual appeal of the soils and composting area
  • Ensuring cleanliness and organization of storage spaces
  • Assisting in achieving operational and logistical objectives
  • Helping maintain inventory levels
  • Evaluating and suggesting enhancements to existing procedures
  • Preparing special exhibits and aiding in snow management

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • A minimum of 4 years of experience in landscaping or similar fields
  • A Bachelor's degree in a relevant area is preferred
  • Expertise in operating diverse equipment
  • A valid Commercial Driver's License
  • A PA pesticide Applicators Certification or a willingness to obtain one
  • The capability to lift and work outdoors under varying conditions
