We are thrilled to announce an opening for a Universal Pre-Kindergarten Teacher. This role is focused on nurturing and educating children aged 4 years old.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and execute a developmentally appropriate curriculum for preschool children, adhering to UPK School District standards.
  • Implement positive guidance strategies to instruct, motivate, and redirect classroom behavior effectively.
  • Foster strong relationships with families and staff through professional communication, creating an inclusive environment that respects diversity and encourages parental involvement.
  • Collaborate with teaching assistants and service providers to enhance educational outcomes.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood Education.
  • New York State certification in Pre-Kindergarten (General Education or Special Education) or the ability to obtain certification through a structured plan.
  • Experience in teaching preschool-aged children.
