Pediatric Gastroenterology Division Head

Penn State Health is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Pediatric Gastroenterology Division Chief to lead our team of dedicated professionals in the Department of Pediatrics, Division of Pediatric Gastroenterology.
About the Opportunity- Lead a growing team of healthcare professionals, including physicians, nurse practitioners, and ancillary staff, in providing high-quality patient care and advancing the field of pediatric gastroenterology.
- Develop and implement academic and clinical programs that align with the department's strategic goals and objectives.
- Collaborate with colleagues to advance research and scholarly activity in pediatric gastroenterology.
- Recruit and retain top talent to join our team, fostering a culture of excellence and innovation.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and maintain a safe and healthy work environment.
- Medical degree (MD, DO, or foreign equivalent) and fellowship training in Pediatric Gastroenterology.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in pediatric gastroenterology, with a strong track record of leadership and academic achievement.
- Eligibility for the rank of Associate Professor or higher.
- Proven leadership experience in an academic healthcare environment.
- A strong commitment to patient care, medical student and resident education, and research/scholarly activity.
