Job Summary:

The Clinical Research Nurse Coordinator is responsible for providing direct care to candidates for and participants in VCU Massey clinical trial research protocols. This involves collaborating with treating physicians and/or principal/local investigators to recognize and respond appropriately to deviations from normal, identify, interpret, analyze, and evaluate patient conditions, and make alterations in treatment and diagnostic regimens.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct care to candidates for and participants in VCU Massey clinical trial research protocols.
  • Collaborate with treating physicians and/or principal/local investigators to recognize and respond appropriately to deviations from normal.
  • Identify, interpret, analyze, and evaluate patient conditions.
  • Make alterations in treatment and diagnostic regimens in collaboration with treating physicians/principal/local investigators.

Requirements:

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in nursing and research, with excellent communication and collaboration skills. The ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks is essential.
