Provide Differentiated InstructionDevelop and deliver differentiated instruction and adapt teaching strategies to meet the diverse needs of students, including those with varying learning styles and abilities.
Assess and Monitor Student ProgressRegularly assess and monitor student progress, documenting achievements and identifying areas for improvement to inform instruction and make data-driven decisions.
Collaborate with Colleagues and ParentsWork collaboratively with other teachers, specialists, and parents to ensure effective communication, coordination of services, and a seamless student experience.
Utilize Assistive Technology and Adaptive EquipmentIntegrate assistive technology and adaptive equipment to facilitate student participation, independence, and engagement in the learning process.
Qualifications- Master's Degree in Special Education
A Master's degree in Special Education is preferred, but not required. A valid teaching certificate or credential in Special Education is essential.
Familiarity with IEPs and Assistive TechnologyExperience with Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and the ability to develop and implement them effectively, as well as familiarity with assistive technology and adaptive equipment.
Strong Communication and Interpersonal SkillsExcellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with colleagues, parents, and support staff.
