Academic Support Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled School Psychologist to join our team at ProCare Therapy in Danville.
About the RoleThis is a full-time position, working 35 hours per week, with a competitive hourly pay rate.
As a School Psychologist, you will be responsible for providing comprehensive psychological services to students and staff, promoting positive learning environments and student success.
Key Responsibilities- Conducting thorough psychological assessments and evaluations to identify student needs
- Developing and implementing individualized education plans (IEPs) to ensure student progress
- Providing counseling and support to students and families, addressing academic and behavioral challenges
- Collaborating with teachers, administrators, and other school personnel to improve student outcomes
- Maintaining accurate records and documentation of student progress and interventions
- A Master's degree in School Psychology or a related field
- Valid state certification or licensure as a School Psychologist
- Prior experience working in a school setting is preferred
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively and independently
- Demonstrated knowledge of applicable laws, regulations, and ethical standards related to school psychology
- Competitive Hourly Pay: $ 45-$55 per hour
