**Overview of Job**

The RN Clinical Coordinator will be responsible for organizing and coordinating the intake/admission/triage process at Fort Sanders Perinatal Center. This individual will answer and process all calls within the practice based on the needs of the caller, working closely with the clinical supervisor, office manager, and operations manager to ensure seamless communication and coordination.

**Key Responsibilities**

* Answer all calls and triage patients as needed, utilizing approved protocols and documentation from the medical record
* Receive orders from physicians and communicate changes in patient assessment to the MD and other staff members as appropriate
* Document all calls and interventions/actions in messaging systems or charts
* Conduct initial telephone assessments of patients using approved protocols and discuss recommended actions with the patient/patient representative
* Maintain current knowledge of agency policies and procedures, as well as compliance guidelines and safety standards

**Requirements**

Minimum Education: Graduate of an accredited school of nursing with a diploma ADN, BSN, or MSN.
Minimum Experience: Minimum of three (3) years of medical office triage experience preferred. Excellent customer service skills required. Experience with Basic Microsoft Office preferred.
Licensure Requirement: Valid Tennessee Nursing license.

**Estimated Salary:** $65,000 - $80,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.
