Job Overview

At Crossland Heavy Contractors Inc, we're seeking a skilled Heavy Equipment Technician to join our team. As a key member of our operations, you'll play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our heavy equipment fleet.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on heavy equipment, including diesel engines, hydraulic systems, and electrical components.
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot equipment issues, using your technical expertise to identify and resolve problems efficiently.
  • Document all repairs and maintenance activities, providing clear and concise reports to management.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to ensure seamless equipment operation and minimize downtime.
  • Stay up-to-date with manufacturer recommendations and industry best practices to maintain our equipment's optimal performance.

Requirements:

  • Valid driver's license and a strong understanding of heavy equipment operation.
  • Ability to lift 50 pounds and work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Basic computer skills and familiarity with maintenance software.
  • CDL or equivalent experience a plus.
