Key Responsibilities- Develop and Maintain Customer Relationships: Build strong relationships with customers to understand their needs and provide tailored solutions to maximize their productivity and efficiency.
- Sales and Marketing: Sell whole-goods, parts, and service, as well as promote and sell machine technology solutions, including Machine Control, telematics, and machine maintenance monitoring.
- Product Knowledge: Maintain a strong knowledge of compact equipment, including compact utility tractors, skid-loaders, mini-excavators, compact loaders, generators, ground heaters, and technology for compact machines.
- Business Development: Identify new business opportunities and develop strategies to expand our customer base and increase sales revenue.
- Communication and Interpersonal Skills: Possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with customers, colleagues, and management.
- Administrative Tasks: Use company-provided systems and tools to document, track, and record sales activity, as well as follow up and capture all related sales activity in a timely and accurate manner.
- Experience: Prior sales experience and/or training in the equipment industry.
- Knowledge: Solid understanding of local market conditions and knowledge of resale values of particular machinery.
- Skills: Strong communication and interpersonal skills, excellent customer service skills, and excellent computer skills.
- Certifications: Commercial Driver's License (CDL) and current health card preferred.
- Competitive Compensation: Average $70,000 to $100,000 your first year, with top earners well into six figures.
