Job Title: Benefit Administrator

Job Summary: We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Benefit Administrator to join our team at Murphy-Hoffman Company. As a Benefit Administrator, you will be responsible for administering our employee benefit programs, including health insurance plans, prescription drug programs, and other benefits.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Administer employee benefit programs, including health insurance plans, prescription drug programs, and other benefits.
  • Respond to inquiries regarding employee benefits.
  • Function as a liaison with employees and benefit vendors.
  • Handle COBRA notifications, enrollments, and terminations, including collection of COBRA payments.
  • Act as Family and Medical Leave Act (FMLA) and leave of absence (LOA) coordinator.
  • Assist with the development of benefit presentations and communication materials to educate employees about benefit plans.
  • Compile data and create reports requiring computer skills.
  • Continually identify areas for improvement and implement new procedures and processes where possible.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree and two years' experience in human resources or benefits administration preferred.
  • Excellent customer service skills and phone etiquette required.
  • Must be well organized and detail oriented.
  • Computer skills and previous office experience required.
  • Must be familiar with employee benefit plan administration.
