Meat Department Associate

We are seeking a skilled Meat Department Associate to join our team. As a key member of our meat department, you will be responsible for performing general production work, maintaining and operating the department, and demonstrating our company's core values.
Responsibilities- Respond to customer needs and provide excellent customer service.
- Maintain accurate temperature logs and train associates on temperature log procedures.
- Operate light power equipment and maintain a safe working environment.
- Learn and follow procedures and methods of the meat department.
- Keep carts, tools, and supplies organized and maintain a clean and safe working environment.
- Communicate effectively with customers and fellow associates.
- Follow all current rules and duties of the Meat Department, Company, and State and Federal laws.
- Willingness to work weekends and holidays.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills.
- Able to read shelf tags, signs, and product labels.
- Ability to work safely with various chemically based cleaning solutions and operate certain equipment.
- Ability to work as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
