Job Summary

Soliant is seeking a highly skilled Speech-Language Pathologist to join our team in a local elementary school in St. Cloud, MN. As a Speech-Language Pathologist, you will be responsible for assessing students referred for possible speech and language needs, providing individual and/or group therapy sessions, and developing individualized education plans.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assessment and Therapy: Assess students referred for possible speech and language needs, and provide individual and/or group therapy sessions to address identified speech and language disorders.
  • Individualized Education Plans: Develop individualized education plans and present them to parents, school administrators, and other stakeholders involved in student evaluations.
  • Consultation and Collaboration: Consult with teachers, counselors, parents, nurses, and administrators on speech and language concerns, and provide reports of student progress to parents.
  • Caseload Management: Organize student caseload and develop a schedule for each assigned school, and maintain accurate records for all students on the caseload.
Requirements
  • Minnesota SLP License: In addition to their Minnesota SLP license, candidates must also have an active PELSB certificate (tier 2, 3 or 4) in order to work in a school setting.
  • Clinical Fellows: Clinical Fellows typically qualify for a tier 2 SLP certificate.

  • Excellent Communication Skills: Excellent communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with students, parents, and school staff.
  • Solid Organization Skills: Solid organization skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
  • Up-to-Date Knowledge: Up-to-date knowledge of Minnesota Special Education procedures and best practices for SLPs in school settings.
  • Professionalism and Accountability: Professionalism and accountability, with a commitment to delivering high-quality services to students and families.
