Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Neurosurgery Specialist to join our team at UI Health. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care, collaborating with other healthcare professionals, and staying up-to-date with the latest developments in neurosurgery.

Responsibilities:

  • Clinical Practice: Work within the Bylaws of the University of Illinois Hospital & Health Sciences System and adhere to hospital and divisional policy.
  • Patient Care: Provide accurate history and physical examinations, conduct comprehensive or episodic health assessments, and develop patient care plans.
  • Collaboration: Work collaboratively with other providers in the care of patients.
  • Leadership: Participate in program development, lead multidisciplinary teams to provide integrated delivery of patient care services, and identify and participate in quality-improvement initiatives.

Requirements:

  • Licensure: Licensure as an Advanced Practice Nurse.
  • Education: Master's degree in Nursing or Doctorate degree in Nursing required.
  • Certification: Board Certified with Adult and Gerontology Nurse Practitioner specialties that includes but not limited to AGACNP-BC, AGPCNP-BC, or FNP-BC, required.
  • Experience: 1-2 years of Neurosurgery in the outpatient setting or inpatient setting or Critical Care experience required.

Estimated Salary: $120,000 - $150,000 per year
