Job Summary

Demonstrate competency and practice within the full scope of nursing expertise/knowledge. Provide care for residents in all phases of preventative care, health maintenance, diagnosis, and treatment. Coordinate care, conduct resident assessments, and provide education.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate care for residents
• Conduct resident assessments
• Provide education to residents
• May serve as charge nurse and delegate tasks to license and unlicensed assistive personnel
• Provide adequate assistance and support to delegates

Qualifications

• Graduate from a nationally accredited nursing program
• Currently holds an unencumbered RN license
• Obtains and maintains required department specific competencies and certifications
