Position Overview:
As a Certified Autism Support Facilitator, you will co-lead social skills development sessions for a small group of children and adolescents diagnosed with autism, collaborating closely with another trained staff member. These sessions are tailored to the age and skill levels of the participants, ensuring a supportive environment for growth.

Key Responsibilities:

Facilitation of Social Skills Sessions:
- Take the lead role during designated social skills sessions.
- Collaborate with colleagues to design engaging activity plans that align with educational objectives, including the sequence of activities and necessary materials.
- Keep detailed records of student progress and maintain goal tracking sheets.
- Prepare and submit weekly billing documentation for participants.
- Participate in relevant training sessions and staff meetings focused on social skills facilitation.
- Engage with families to discuss their children's involvement and progress in the sessions.

Additional Information:
Qualifications:
- Availability for a flexible work schedule, including evenings and weekends as required by session timings.
- Must hold a valid license from the Rhode Island Department of Health (OT, SLP, LICSW, LMHC, LMFT, or BCBA).
- Strong understanding of autism spectrum disorders and current best practices in supporting individuals with autism is essential.
- A commitment to teamwork within a rapidly growing non-profit organization.
