POSITION SUMMARY:

The Community Support Services Supervisor plays a crucial role in enhancing revenue streams, fostering relationships with referral partners, and ensuring the effective delivery of services to clients. This position is responsible for initiating new cases and verifying that care plans align with the required level of support.

In this role, you will oversee the planning, directing, and organizing of service delivery, ensuring that quality standards consistently meet or exceed the expectations and goals of Ambercare.


SCHEDULE:

Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Achieve or surpass financial objectives.
  • Proactively develop and implement strategies to enhance revenue and expand the client base.
  • Coordinate care for clients effectively.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with referral sources.
  • Monitor care plans to ensure ongoing client satisfaction and needs are met.
  • Manage weekly billing and transmittal for clients.
  • Conduct supervisory visits as necessary.
  • Oversee staffing requirements for all service areas.
  • Facilitate caregiver orientation and training sessions.
  • Coordinate schedules for clients and caregivers, approve time slips, and manage scheduling software updates.
  • Provide coaching and counseling to caregivers as needed.
  • Address client and caregiver concerns promptly and conduct investigations when required.
  • Ensure timely submission of all necessary caregiver documentation.
  • Be available via cell phone for on-call duties.
  • Supervise staff in the absence of the Director.
  • Maintain confidentiality at all times due to access to sensitive information.
  • Exhibit regular, predictable attendance and flexibility to meet departmental needs.
  • Adhere to all Medicare, Medicaid, and HIPAA regulations and requirements.
  • Comply with all company policies, procedures, and standards.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Associate's degree in a relevant field.
  • Preferred two years of experience in healthcare.
  • Certification as a Nurse's Aide in good standing with the state is preferred.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently.
  • Valid driver's license and proof of insurance are required.
