Room Service Attendant

The Room Service Attendant is responsible for ensuring the cleanliness and upkeep of the hotel's public spaces.
Key responsibilities may include (as determined by hotel standards): thorough cleaning of designated areas, setting up and maintaining complimentary services in the hotel lobby, including coffee stations and evening concierge events, delivering requested items to guest rooms from the front desk, and operating the shuttle van when necessary (property specific).

QUALIFICATIONS:
A high school diploma or equivalent and/or experience in hospitality or a related field is preferred.
Must possess a valid driver's license for the applicable state and maintain an acceptable driving record (property specific).
Must be capable of assessing and selecting among various options quickly and accurately.
Must perform well in high-pressure situations.
Must maintain composure and objectivity under stress.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Adhere to all Aimbridge Hospitality standards and regulations to promote safe and efficient hotel operations.
Clean and polish floors daily in accordance with hotel standards.
Shampoo carpets in public areas as per hotel guidelines.
Shampoo furniture as required following hotel protocols.
Maintain cleanliness of public restrooms and ensure regular maintenance as needed throughout the shift.
Assist guests with luggage requests during check-in/out in a friendly, efficient, and courteous manner.
Practice safe work habits to ensure the safety of guests, fellow associates, and oneself.
Manage items for the 'Lost and Found' according to Aimbridge Hospitality standards.
At the end of the shift, return all keys and assignment sheets to the Housekeeping or Front Office.
Complete daily assignment checklist and submit to the supervisor at the end of the day.
Perform additional tasks as assigned by the supervisor or manager.
