OBJECTIVE: The Landscape Operations Supervisor plays a crucial role in leading and managing landscaping projects, ensuring effective teamwork and motivation among staff members.
Under the guidance of the Ranch Manager, this position oversees all landscaping initiatives, ensuring that operations run smoothly across various properties.
PURPOSE: To maintain safe and visually appealing grounds that enhance the overall aesthetic of the company.
Key Responsibilities:- Ensure quality standards are met in all landscaping tasks.
- Provide performance feedback and support disciplinary actions for landscaping staff.
- Maintain the landscape across all company properties, including public areas.
- Collaborate with management to establish work schedules and staffing needs.
- Respond promptly to landscape maintenance requests.
- Assist in the upkeep of landscaping equipment.
- Support project management efforts, including contractor coordination.
- Research and evaluate new materials and equipment for landscape maintenance.
- Conduct property inspections and prepare monthly performance reports.
- Develop and implement a comprehensive landscape maintenance program.
- Ensure timely completion of maintenance and repairs.
- Monitor landscape areas for potential erosion issues.
- Participate in the recruitment of new team members as needed.
- Oversee the daily work schedules and maintenance records.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Assist with seasonal activities, such as grape harvest and trail building.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
- Educate all landscaping staff on safety protocols.
- Coordinate safety training and ensure documentation is maintained.
- Report any injuries or accidents immediately.
- Ensure proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
- Report hazardous conditions to management.
- Strong leadership and supervisory experience (minimum 5 years).
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure.
- Knowledge of safe operation and maintenance of landscaping equipment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Outlook.
Compensation: The salary range for this position is $43.00-$50.00, reflecting the expected pay based on qualifications and experience.
