Position Overview
We are in search of a skilled and analytical Senior Financial Analyst with experience in the Software as a Service (SaaS) sector to support our Professional Services Leadership team.
As an essential member of our finance division, you will be instrumental in analyzing, interpreting, and presenting the financial performance of our SaaS-enabled Professional Services division, driving strategic decisions and ensuring sustainable growth.
Key Responsibilities
1. Conduct in-depth analysis of the Professional Services Profit and Loss statements, examining revenue streams, cost factors, and profitability across various service lines, projects, and clients.
2. Develop and maintain advanced financial models to project revenue, expenses, and profitability for the Professional Services team, incorporating market trends and benchmarks.
3. Transform complex financial data into clear, actionable insights for leadership by compiling findings into impactful reports and dashboards that showcase key performance indicators.
4. Utilize your technical expertise to automate data analysis and create dynamic reporting tools.
5. Communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels, from executives to project managers, ensuring clarity on the financial implications of decisions.
6. Participate in ad-hoc projects as required to support our dynamic SaaS environment.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in finance or accounting; MBA preferred.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in a corporate finance role, preferably within the Software/SaaS industry.
- Proven experience in constructing and managing complex financial models in Excel, with a focus on SaaS metrics and subscription growth.
- Familiarity with major reporting tools such as NetSuite, Adaptive, and Salesforce is preferred.
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities with a meticulous attention to detail.
- Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- A passion for data-driven decision-making and a collaborative approach.
- Comprehensive understanding of SaaS business models and the financial factors that drive successful SaaS companies.
Compensation
This position offers a competitive compensation range, inclusive of base salary and variable compensation such as bonuses and incentives. Actual compensation may vary based on factors such as location, skills, experience, and qualifications.
