About the Role
We are seeking a licensed psychologist to perform medical assessments on United States veterans as part of the VA's disability benefits process. As a Veteran Disability Assessment Specialist, you will review behavioral health records electronically through a secure web portal and conduct comprehensive assessments in person on each veteran.
Key Responsibilities:
- Review and assess 4 veterans per day on average
- Complete Disability Benefits Questionnaires (DBQs) through the web portal
- Perform assessments in person, adhering to strict confidentiality protocols
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you must have a Ph.D. or Psy.D. from an APA-accredited program, hold an active and unrestricted psychology license, and meet the credentialing requirements set forth by the VA.
Benefits Package
We offer a daily rate of $500+, malpractice insurance coverage, and health insurance options. This is an in-person position, requiring 2-3 days of work per week.
