We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Patient Care Technician - Behavioral Health to join our multidisciplinary treatment team at Silver Hill Hospital. As a leading private nonprofit psychiatric hospital, we provide world-class treatment for psychiatric illnesses and addiction.

About the Role

As a Patient Care Technician - Behavioral Health, you will play a vital role in providing direct care and supervision to residents, establishing therapeutic relationships, and functioning as a role model for residents. You will work in a fast-paced environment where the total emphasis is on delivering optimum patient care.

Responsibilities
  • Function as a member of a multidisciplinary treatment team providing compassionate care.
  • Provide direct care and supervision of residents, establishing therapeutic relationships with patients.
  • Function as a role model for residents, demonstrating effective problem-solving and decision-making skills.

Qualifications and Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • An associate's degree in a behavioral health field.
  • A bachelor's degree in psychology, social work, or a behavioral health-related field is preferred.
  • The ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment where the total emphasis is on delivering optimum patient care.

Schedule: 7AM-7PM and 7PM-7AM, every other weekend. Silver Hill Hospital is a private nonprofit psychiatric hospital in New Canaan, CT, with 129 beds, accredited by the Joint Commission.
