We are seeking a highly skilled Financial Operations Leader to oversee the daily operations of the accounting department at our client's location in Orange County, California.

  • The Financial Operations Leader will be responsible for managing the accounting team, enhancing processes, and supporting executive leadership with financial insights and reporting.
  • This role includes analyzing cash position, assisting in cash forecasting, and preparing journal entries, reconciliations, and consolidated IFRS & GAAP financial reporting packages.

Main Responsibilities

Supervise and mentor accounting staff, assist with annual budgeting and monthly forecasting.

Prepare tax worksheets, support schedules, maintain and develop internal control procedures, upholding Colas' ethics and business principles.

Perform other duties as assigned by management.

Compensation Package

  • A compensation range of $95-$120k annually, plus discretionary annual bonus.

Skill Requirements

  • 7+ years of accounting work experience.
  • Construction industry accounting experience, including WIP reporting.
  • Strong knowledge of both GAAP and IFRS, including revenue recognition and lease accounting standards.
  • Ideal candidates will have CPA and/or CMA certification.
