Senior Work Package Planner

Compa Industries Inc is seeking a highly skilled Senior Work Package Planner to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and reviewing comprehensive work packages that include detailed time, material, and labor estimates, along with written step-by-step work instructions, procedures, and safety and testing requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and review work packages for operations, maintenance, or modification activities, ensuring all aspects are thoroughly covered.
- Prepare detailed time, material, and labor estimates for each work package.
- Write clear, step-by-step work instructions and procedures to guide work activities.
- Incorporate safety and testing requirements into all work packages to ensure compliance with regulations and standards.
- Plan work activities related to mechanical, electrical, chemical, and/or radiological equipment, policies, and procedures.
- Identify and resolve work restraints to ensure smooth and timely execution of work activities.
- Ensure work packages are brought to final closure, including documentation and review of completed work.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure all planning aspects are aligned with project objectives.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in work package planning, specifically within nuclear and refinement projects, is required.
- Strong understanding of mechanical, electrical, chemical, and/or radiological equipment and related policies and procedures.
- Proven ability to develop detailed estimates for time, materials, and labor.
- Experience writing clear and precise work instructions and procedures.
- Familiarity with safety and testing requirements in a nuclear or refinement environment.
- Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and resolve work restraints effectively.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment and communicate with various stakeholders.
