Primary Care Nurse Practitioner Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Primary Care Nurse Practitioner to join our team at CH Recruitment Solutions. As a valued member of our healthcare team, you will play a vital role in providing comprehensive care to patients in long-term care facilities.

About the Role:

This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated and dedicated nurse practitioner to make a positive impact on the lives of patients while working alongside a collaborative team of healthcare professionals. As a Primary Care Nurse Practitioner, your responsibilities will include:

  • Providing high-quality patient care and coordinating treatment plans
  • Collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to ensure seamless care delivery
  • Conducting thorough assessments, including medical history reviews and physical examinations
  • Ordering and interpreting diagnostic tests
  • Developing accurate diagnoses and treatment plans
  • Prescribing medications and administering treatments
  • Providing counseling and education to residents and their families
  • Managing chronic conditions and monitoring patient progress
  • Ensuring a safe and nurturing environment for elderly residents

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A current Nurse Practitioner License
  • A minimum of 1 year of hands-on experience as an NP/PA (preferably in long-term care)
  • A DEA License
  • At least 6 months of experience working in long-term care settings

Schedule and Benefits:

This part-time position offers a flexible schedule of 3 days per week and a competitive benefits package, including:
