Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Packing Operator to join our team at Genesis Technical Staffing, Inc.

The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the efficient and accurate packaging of finished products.

Key Responsibilities
  • Package finished products into bags or bulk containers using semi-automated packaging equipment.
  • Transport and load finished products using an industrial lift truck.
  • Spot railroad cars and locate them at appropriate positions utilizing a mechanized rail car mover.
  • Work at elevated levels to measuring Silos, fill railcars and bulk trucks and utilizing Fall Protection devices.
  • Perform minor maintenance duties on packaging equipment.
  • Brace and place tonnage for all railroad cars and trucks.
  • Replace baghouse filters as required by Maintenance Schedule.
  • Clean bag packaging and bulk loading equipment.
  • Receive and stock shipping pallets and product bags.
  • Inventory of packaging supplies and finished products.
  • Daily housekeeping for Packaging Area.
  • Operation of Ink Jet Printing System.
  • Operation of Automated Palletizer and Stretch Wrapper.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma required.
  • Satisfactory completion of all defined self-study and Process Specific training requirements for the Packaging Operator Classification.
  • Satisfactory completion of On-the-Job Training requirements.
  • Environmental, Health, Safety and Quality Systems training (ISO9000/14001), GMP and Responsible Care Training.
