Lead Steward

Wynn Resorts is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Lead Steward to join our team. As a key member of our stewarding team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest level of service and quality in our banquet operations.

**Responsibilities:**

* Wash, clean, and polish equipment to ensure it is ready for use
* Break down and clean china, glass, silver, and Queen Mary's during and after events
* Transport food from the banquet kitchen to the banquet room and dirty dishes from event areas back to the cleanup kitchen area
* Supervise kitchen workers and maintain the silver room inventory
* Assist with dish-up during setup, service, and teardown
* Enforce PPE and uniform standards
* Participate in biohazard clean-up and OSHA regulations
* Manage inventory and oversee $3,000,000.00 and 70% of inventory orders

**Qualifications:**

* Ability to adhere to Wynn Steward Uniform Standards and attend all training as scheduled
* Fluency in English and ability to communicate professionally
* Previous experience as a steward at a high-volume establishment
* Knowledge of chemicals, personal protection equipment, and sanitation guidelines
* Ability to work efficiently and within a team environment
* Knowledge of collective bargaining agreements, company policies, and procedures
* Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and push/pull up to 400lbs.
* Ability to obtain and maintain any licensing or active work cards required
* Must be at least 21 years of age
