Job Title: Banquet Captain

Proof of the Pudding is seeking a highly organized and professional Banquet Captain to provide exceptional service to our clients. As a key member of our banquet team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth execution of events at the Gas South District Convention Center.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage event setup and breakdown, including table settings and buffet stations.
  • Lead a team of staff to ensure timely and efficient service.
  • Communicate effectively with clients, staff, and vendors to ensure seamless event execution.
  • Assist with event planning, including scheduling, inventory management, and equipment setup.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to company standards.
Requirements:
  • 1+ year of experience in a banquet or front-of-house leadership role.
  • Highly organized and able to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Impeccable integrity and a customer-focused mentality.
