Description

Proof of the Pudding (POP) is a renowned catering and provisions company that provides exceptional services to conferences, meetings, exhibitions, conventions, and special events at the Gas South District Convention Center. We are seeking a skilled and professional Banquet Server to join our reputable banquet team. As a Banquet Server, you will provide Front of House support at events to our clients and the POP team. Your primary responsibilities will include:

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Assist in setting tables according to diagram and/or sample table.
  • Set up buffet stations, including decor.
  • Serve and clear food and beverage quietly, professionally, and quickly, using proper serving and clearing techniques.
  • Keep work areas clean and coordinate actions with the banquet captain to ensure flawless customer service.
  • Manage time effectively.
  • Assist in managing inventory of equipment and with set up and breakdown of events.
  • Serve and clear food and beverage quietly, professionally, and quickly, using proper serving and clearing techniques.
  • Report to the Banquet Captain and perform any tasks assigned to execute a flawless event.
  • Maintain good grooming and personal hygiene.

We are looking for a candidate with 1+ year of experience in a banquet or Front of House environment, preferably in high-volume catering. If you possess excellent listening and communication skills, renowned time management and organization skills, strong Customer Service skills, and the ability to work alone and as a team, we encourage you to apply.
