Research Scientist with Expertise in Mass Spectrometry

Innova Solutions is seeking a highly motivated Research Associate to join our team. As a key member of our research group, you will play a crucial role in advancing our understanding of protein interactions using hydrogen-deuterium exchange (HX or HDX) mass spectrometry.
The ideal candidate will possess a strong foundation in mass spectrometry, protein biochemistry, and analytical chemistry. Your expertise will be essential in conducting and analyzing various hydrogen exchange experiments on cellular protein targets. You will also collaborate closely with computational scientists to develop structural predictions based on the resulting data.
This role requires a comprehensive command of laboratory skills, including buffer exchange, concentration measurement, serial dilutions, and buffer preparation. Previous experience with mass spectrometry, chromatographic separations, and computer programming in Python is highly desirable.
You will have the opportunity to work with a diverse range of chemicals, including guanidine hydrochloride, guanidine thiocyanate, and deuterium oxide.
