About the Role

Cascade Engineering is seeking a highly skilled Production Team Leader to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our production floor, focusing on quality, efficiency, and employee development.

Key Responsibilities
  • Production Focus: Support the production team in meeting daily production schedules, verify defects, and report them into our operations system.
  • Continuous Improvement: Collaborate with our lean department to establish and maintain flow cell certifications, utilizing lean principles to improve effectiveness and efficiency in production.
  • Servant Leadership: Coach, mentor, and support operators to ensure a safe, effective, and efficient work environment.
  • Quality and Safety: Ensure a high level of quality in products being produced and sent out to customers, meeting specifications and requirements.
  • Production Collaboration: Ensure the production floor is running smoothly, stepping in on machines when needed, and assisting Front Line Leaders in managing production and staff.
Requirements
  • A minimum of 2 years manufacturing/machine operator experience.
  • A minimum of one year experience in a leadership or related role, informal or formal team support.
  • The ability to hold others accountable to policies, procedures, and performance expectations.
  • The ability to stand for 8-12 hours a day.
  • The ability to communicate effectively in front of small groups.
  • The ability to handle multiple projects and prioritize effectively.
  • The ability to use a computer, including Microsoft products (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
  • The ability to read and follow written work instructions.
  • Some positions require lifting up to 50 pounds.
