We are seeking a dedicated Retail Operations Leader to join our dynamic team at our AbilityOne Base Supply Center. This role is ideal for individuals who thrive in a collaborative, fast-paced environment and are eager to contribute to a meaningful mission.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Oversee and support retail and warehouse operations, ensuring smooth functionality.
  2. Engage in cashier and customer service tasks using an automated point-of-sale system.
  3. Handle cash register operations, assist customers, and manage special orders.
  4. Receive and stock merchandise, maintaining quality assurance standards.
  5. Provide exceptional customer service, including greeting customers and assisting with product selections.
  6. Operate Material Handling Equipment safely and efficiently.
  7. Conduct regular Cycle and Physical Count Inventories.
  8. Collaborate with team members to achieve performance objectives.
  9. Manage purchasing tasks for inventory and special orders as required.
  10. Track back orders and manage vendor communications, including POs and invoices.
  11. Verify incoming merchandise against purchase orders and packing slips.
  12. Process orders in the EESOH system for HazMat pharmacy and FEDMALL.
  13. Conduct performance evaluations and manage disciplinary actions as necessary.

Qualifications:

  1. Team-oriented with a proactive, solution-focused mindset.
  2. Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills, along with exceptional customer service abilities.
  3. A minimum of 3 years of supervisory experience is preferred, with forklift operation experience being a plus.
  4. Able to thrive in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities effectively.
  5. Basic computer proficiency is required.
  6. Highly organized, detail-oriented, and adaptable to change.
  7. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with strong problem-solving and decision-making capabilities.
  8. Must possess a valid Driver's License with a clean record.
  9. Ability to pass a security clearance is mandatory.
