Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough fact investigation, perform in-depth legal research, and draft discovery documents.
  • Prepare pleadings, take and defend depositions, and participate in mediations to achieve successful outcomes.
  • Collaborate with our team to develop and grow our litigation practice, including networking and client development initiatives.
  • Represent the firm in court for motions and pre-hearing proceedings, demonstrating exceptional advocacy skills.

Qualifications:

  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Admitted to the Illinois state bar.
  • 6+ years of commercial litigation experience, with a proven track record of success.
  • Excellent research, writing, and communication skills, with the ability to distill complex information into clear, concise arguments.
  • Strong business development skills, with a focus on building and maintaining client relationships.
  • Attention to detail and strong analytical skills, with the ability to analyze complex data and identify key issues.
  • Preferred: undergraduate degree in accounting or business, although not required.

The successful candidate will be offered a competitive compensation package, including bonuses and profit share, as well as opportunities for partnership and professional growth within the firm.
