Pharmacy Intern P1 Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Pharmacy Intern P1 to join our team at Wegmans Food Markets. As a Pharmacy Intern P1, you will have the opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a fast-paced retail pharmacy environment and develop the skills and knowledge necessary to succeed in a career as a licensed pharmacist.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist pharmacists and technicians with dispensing medications and providing customer service
  • Develop and maintain a comprehensive knowledge of pharmacy operations, including inventory management, billing, and patient counseling
  • Participate in ongoing education and training programs to stay up-to-date on the latest pharmacy practices and regulations
  • Collaborate with the pharmacy team to ensure seamless delivery of patient care and services
Requirements:
  • Current student in good standing at an accredited pharmacy program
  • Pharmacy Intern Permit, where applicable by state law
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities
