We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Pharmacy Intern to join our team at Wegmans Food Markets. As a Pharmacy Intern, you will have the opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a fast-paced retail pharmacy environment and develop the skills necessary to succeed in a career as a licensed pharmacist.
Key Responsibilities:- Assist pharmacists and technicians with patient consultations and medication counseling
- Develop and maintain a comprehensive knowledge of the retail pharmacy industry
- Work collaboratively with the pharmacy team to provide exceptional customer service
- Participate in ongoing education and training to stay up-to-date on industry developments and best practices
- Current student in progress for or has completed 1 year of pharmacy school with an anticipated graduation date of May 2027
- Pharmacy Intern Permit, where applicable by state law
- Pharmacy experience
- Immunization certification
- Systems aptitude
- Computer skills
