Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Front Office Representative to join our team at Tanner Health System. As a key member of our front office team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to our patients, ensuring a positive experience from check-in to check-out. Your attention to detail, ability to multitask, and effective communication skills will be essential in this role.

Responsibilities

  • Provide exceptional customer service to patients, responding to their needs and resolving any issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Manage patient check-in and check-out processes, ensuring accurate and efficient completion of tasks.
  • Collect and process payments, including co-payments, deductibles, and co-insurances.
  • Update patient demographic and billing information, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
  • Answer phone calls, respond to messages, and direct visitors to the appropriate area of the office.
  • Collaborate with other team members to achieve office and system customer service goals.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A high school diploma or equivalent.
  • One year of related experience, preferably in a healthcare setting.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Able to multitask and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Basic computer skills, including data entry and familiarity with electronic medical records.

Work Environment

This role is based in a dynamic healthcare environment, with exposure to various patients, medical information, and equipment. You will be required to maintain confidentiality and adhere to Tanner Health System's policies and procedures.
