Key Responsibilities- Supervise Work Activities: Oversee the day-to-day activities of our construction team, ensuring that projects are completed on time and within budget.
- Plan and Coordinate Work: Assist in planning work schedules, determining workforce needs, material requirements, and equipment needs.
- Lead and Train Crews: Plan, coordinate, and delegate work to crew members, ensuring that they have the necessary skills and training to complete tasks efficiently.
- Ensure Quality Control: Inspect and ensure that work is performed in conformance with specifications, maintaining the highest standards of quality and safety.
- Manage Safety and Risk: Identify and mitigate potential safety risks, ensuring a safe working environment for all team members.
- Education and Experience: High School Diploma or equivalent, with a minimum of two years of related work experience and/or training.
- Physical Demands: Ability to exert heavy physical effort, frequently lifting, carrying, pushing, and pulling up to 50 pounds of material and up to 90 pounds of material with assistance.
- Communication Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders.
- Experience in Formwork/Concrete Construction: A minimum of three years of experience in formwork/concrete construction, with a proven track record of meeting or exceeding performance expectations.
- Bilingual English/Spanish: Bilingual English/Spanish skills are a plus, but not required.
