Job Summary

UCHealth (Colorado) is seeking a skilled Respiratory Therapist to join our team at Poudre Valley Hospital Main Hosp in Fort Collins, CO.

Responsibilities
  • Deliver and assess response to ordered therapy per plan of care.
  • Monitor, record, and communicate patient condition as respiratory care policies and procedures based on patient outcomes, current research, and best practices.
  • Respond to codes and calls for emergent assistance.
  • Educate the patient and family about the patient's illness and provide information about community resources.
Requirements
  • Graduate of an accredited Respiratory Therapy program.
  • Registered as a Respiratory Therapist (RRT) by the National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC).
  • State licensure.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) Healthcare Provider.
  • ACLS within 1 year of hire.
  • NRP within 6 mos of hire.
