Job Summary:

UC Health is seeking a skilled Respiratory Therapist to join our team. As a Respiratory Therapist, you will provide high-quality patient care and work collaboratively with our healthcare team to deliver exceptional patient outcomes.

Responsibilities:

• Deliver and assess response to ordered therapy per plan of care

• Monitor, record, and communicate patient condition as appropriate

• Evaluate respiratory care policies and procedures based on patient outcomes, current research, and best practices

• Respond to codes and calls for emergent assistance

• Assess patient condition and deliver appropriate treatment utilizing appropriate protocols

• Educate the patient and family about the patient's illness and provide information about community resources

Requirements:

• Graduate of an accredited Respiratory Therapy program

• Registered as a Respiratory Therapist (RRT) by the National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC)

• State licensure

• ACLS, PALS, NRP certifications

• BLS through the American Heart Association or the American Red Cross CPR for the Professional Rescuer with card in-hand before start date
