Title: Continuous Improvement Specialist

Pay Rate: $22 - $25/hr.

Location – Columbus, IN

Duration – Long Term

Job Overview:

Working Hours: 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM (40 hours per week)

Essential Skills and Qualifications:

  • Excellent Communication Skills (Verbal and Written)
  • Prior experience in customer service and conflict resolution.
  • Ability to thrive under pressure, with a keen intuition and capability to manage intricate tasks.
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite, particularly Excel, along with data entry and reporting skills.
  • Educational Background: A college degree is preferred, or equivalent professional experience.
  • Experience: Minimum of 2+ years in Program Management or Project Management roles.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee project or program management while coordinating routine and special events.
  • Manage high-profile customer visits and special events.
  • Responsible for Six Sigma initiatives and financial tracking, along with productivity reporting and metrics.
  • Confidentially handle performance reviews, compensation, and other personnel processes for exempt and officer-level employees.
  • Act as a representative to customers, distributors, suppliers, and external agencies.
  • Draft correspondence, respond to inquiries, and resolve customer complaints.
  • Manage databases and conduct research, analysis, and reporting of data, including financial information.
  • Prepare briefing materials for internal meetings and customer engagements.
  • Review and research publications and online resources for relevant issues.
  • Create and maintain intranet sites and perform additional duties as assigned by the supervisor.
