Job Description

As a Licensed Practical Nurse II, you will work under the supervision of a registered professional nurse to provide basic patient care and participate in restorative, health maintenance, and wellness plans defined by a multidisciplinary team. You will also be responsible for administering medication within the confines of the Nurse Practice Act, monitoring patient nutrition and fluid balance, and providing emotional support to patients and families.

Responsibilities
  • Participate in the assessment process by collecting information and reporting to the Registered Nurse
  • Assist the Registered Nurse in formulating the meaningful plan of care
  • Provide information on patient progress to RN to have input into plan of care revision
  • Monitor patient nutrition and fluid balance
  • Provides emotional support to the patient and family
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you must have:

  • Graduation from an accredited LPN Program
  • Current licensure in New York State or eligibility for limited permit to practice
  • Documentation of successful completion of pharmacology course required
  • Current BLS certification
Benefits

We offer a competitive salary range of $24.75-$36.53/hour, based on experience, skills, and education. Exempt positions under the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) will be paid within the base salary equivalent of the stated hourly rates. The pay range may also vary within the stated range based on location.
