At Danone North America, we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Warehouse Lead to join our team. As a key member of our manufacturing team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safe and efficient operation of our warehouse.
Key Responsibilities:- Lead a team of 25-30 hourly operators to ensure Safety, Quality, and Productivity goals are met.
- Drive accountability through strong leadership and set consistent expectations.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize warehouse operations and improve efficiency.
- Develop and implement process improvements to reduce costs and enhance productivity.
- Monitor and analyze key performance indicators to identify areas for improvement.
- High School diploma or equivalent required.
- At least 1+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Previous supervisory experience is preferred.
- Ability to read and write, interpret documents such as safety rules, operating/maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
- Comprehend basic math and simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.
- Understand instructions provided in written, oral, or diagram form.
- Operate powered industrial equipment and navigate in tight spaces and high-traffic areas in a fast-paced environment.
- Operate a computer to enter and retrieve data.
- Prepare and present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees within the organization.
