Position Overview:
Adventist Health is in search of a dedicated Speech Language Pathologist to join our team. This role is essential in providing comprehensive diagnostic and therapeutic services to individuals experiencing communication, cognitive, and swallowing challenges.

Key Responsibilities:
As a Speech Language Pathologist, you will:
  • Conduct thorough patient evaluations and document findings.
  • Implement and monitor treatment plans tailored to individual patient needs.
  • Collaborate with an interdisciplinary care team to ensure holistic patient care.
  • Guide and supervise support staff in accordance with national and state regulations.
  • Engage in ongoing data collection to assess patient outcomes.

Qualifications:
  • Education: Master’s Degree in Speech Language Pathology is required.
  • Experience: A minimum of two years in speech language pathology is preferred.
  • Licensure: Must hold a valid Speech Pathologist license in the state of practice.
  • Certifications: CPR or BLS certification is mandatory. ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech-Language Pathology is required.

Essential Functions:
In this role, you will:
  • Review patient information prior to evaluations and throughout treatment.
  • Conduct and document comprehensive assessments of patients.
  • Provide instruction and direction to support staff as per practice guidelines.
  • Perform additional job-related duties as necessary.
