Job SummaryAs an MRI Technologist, you will be responsible for taking medical images of patients for diagnostic purposes using magnetic resonance imaging. You will work in a hospital, outpatient center, private practice, imaging center, or other healthcare facility, preparing patients for MRIs, operating MRI technology, processing MRIs for radiologists and physicians, and handling patient records.
Responsibilities- Operate MRI technology to take medical images of patients
- Prepare patients for MRIs, including explaining the procedure and positioning them correctly
- Process MRIs for radiologists and physicians, ensuring accurate and high-quality images
- Handle patient records, including maintaining confidentiality and adhering to HIPAA guidelines
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure seamless patient care
- At least 1 year of recent experience as an MRI Technologist
- ARRT Certification
- BLS Certification (AHA)
- Current state license (if applicable)
