Job Overview:

$150,000 / Annually + Bonuses

The primary responsibility of the General Manager is to ensure an outstanding customer experience while overseeing the daily operations of the repair facility in accordance with established guidelines. The General Manager will strategize and execute the daily functions of the Collision Center to meet key performance indicators and insurance standards. This role includes coaching and empowering team members to excel in their respective positions. The General Manager is essential in maintaining high standards of professionalism and plays a crucial role in enhancing the customer experience by ensuring effective collaboration among all staff members. Leading by example is a fundamental expectation for General Managers.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Ensure consistent implementation of the WOW (Wow Operating Way) strategy.
  2. Prepare and oversee the annual and monthly financial plans for the collision center.
  3. Forecast, set targets, and monitor monthly sales, profit, and expense goals.
  4. Conduct formal annual performance evaluations and informal monthly reviews.
  5. Manage all accounts payable and receivable related to the Collision Center.
  6. Maintain a clean and organized repair environment at all times.
  7. Oversee maintenance requirements for all shop equipment, including the paint booth.
  8. Provide necessary training for all personnel.
  9. Ensure all staff comply with safety protocols and dress code.
  10. Open and close the facility daily following established procedures.
  11. Lead daily production meetings to confirm throughput and delivery timelines.
  12. Manage estimates to ensure labor distribution aligns with established standards. Oversee store capacity.
  13. Lead and manage all personnel within the repair facility.
  14. Facilitate monthly Health & Safety and staff meetings. Participate in monthly management meetings.
  15. Attend training sessions and workshops as recommended by senior leadership.
  16. Review store customer satisfaction performance and follow up within 24 hours.

Education and Experience Required

  1. Post-Secondary Education or equivalent experience.
  2. Demonstrated leadership experience in an automotive repair setting or a similar role.

Required Skills and Abilities

  1. Strong attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.
  2. Ability to consistently deliver a positive client experience.
  3. Clear and effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
  4. Capability to motivate team members using effective coaching techniques and management skills.
