Medical Care Specialist

Ochsner Health is a leading healthcare organization seeking a highly skilled Medical Care Specialist to join its team. This role involves providing expert medical care, teaching residents and medical students, and participating in quality improvement initiatives.

- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to deliver comprehensive patient care and improve health outcomes
- Mentor and educate colleagues to enhance their clinical skills and knowledge
This individual will work closely with residents, fellows, attendings, and staff to provide medical care to hospital patients. They will work under the supervision of the Medical Director or approved staff physician and in association with the PCCs, staff nurses, and discharge coordinator.
The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills, as well as excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Proficiency in Windows-style applications and relevant software packages is also required. Reliable transportation is necessary for travel between facilities.
We offer a salary of $110,000 per year, commensurate with experience, and a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, vision, 401(k), and paid time off.
