Organic Chemistry Professor

Murray State University is seeking a highly qualified individual to fill the role of Assistant Professor of Organic Chemistry. As a member of our faculty, you will have the opportunity to teach foundational organic chemistry courses, laboratory courses, and advanced courses, while establishing a viable research program supported by external funding.

• Teach organic chemistry courses to undergraduate students
• Establish a research program with external funding
• Supervise and train student researchers
• Participate in service activities at the department, collegiate, and university level

To be considered for this position, you must have a Ph.D. in Chemistry, Organic Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or a related field. ABDs with a documented plan of completion will be considered. One year of experience as an instructor or teaching assistant in organic chemistry in a university setting is preferred.
