Job Summary

Families and Youth Inc is seeking a highly skilled Financial Analyst Level II to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining the financial integrity of our organization, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting, and providing exceptional support to our management team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist with month-end closing and journal entries to ensure accurate financial reporting.
  • Prepare year-end financial statements, including balance sheets and income statements.
  • Collaborate with the Controller and department managers to prepare department budgets and forecasts.
  • Reconcile bank statements and general ledger accounts to ensure accuracy and completeness.
  • Prepare program billing and submit invoices to clients.
  • Make adjusting journal entries to correct errors and discrepancies.
  • Prepare monthly comparison reports by budget line item to track financial performance.
  • Assist in the preparation of program financial reports and provide analysis and recommendations to management.
  • Post deposits, create invoices, and deposit rent payments in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Track invoices submitted monthly to ensure filing and payment.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Business Administration.
  • Three years of experience in accounting and/or similar roles.
  • Strong Excel skills and data entry abilities.
  • Comfortable with mathematical calculations and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and listening skills.
  • Strong ethics and ability to work independently and as part of a team.
