Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Exercise Specialist to join our Cardiac and Pulmonary Rehabilitation team at ProHealth Care. As an Exercise Specialist, you will play a critical role in the care of our cardiac patients, providing lifestyle modification, education, and exercise prescription to help them achieve optimal health outcomes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in the care of cardiac patients in multiple modalities, including exercise prescription and education.
  • Provide lifestyle modification and education to patients and their families to promote healthy behaviors and disease management.
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams to develop and implement individualized exercise plans for patients.
  • Conduct exercise sessions and provide feedback to patients on their progress.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and satisfaction.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Fitness/Sports Studies or a related field.
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in cardiac rehabilitation or a related field.
  • Current BLS (CPR) and ACLS certifications.
  • Previous internship in a cardiac rehab program preferred.
