Role Overview

We are seeking enthusiastic individuals to assist in our daycare classrooms. In this position, you will:
  • Deliver Quality Care and Instruction
    • Support the educational and developmental growth of preschool children, ages 3 to 5 years, within our inclusive classrooms alongside experienced educators.
    • Assist in teaching age-appropriate academic and social skills to prepare children for their transition to kindergarten through engaging group and individual interactions.
  • Foster a Positive Learning Environment
    • Contribute to creating a stimulating, engaging, and structured classroom atmosphere that encourages curiosity and a love for learning.
    • Implement effective classroom management strategies.
    • Help establish and maintain classroom expectations and routines.

The successful candidate will possess:
  • A genuine passion for providing high-quality care and education to local children and their families.
  • Experience in supporting the educational, developmental, and social-emotional growth of young children.
  • A warm and engaging demeanor with a focus on family-centered care.
  • The motivation to excel and adapt to the evolving needs of early childhood education.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams.
  • Preferred but not mandatory: An active NYS Teacher Assistant certification, which we will support you in obtaining.
