Pharmacy Consultant

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Pharmacy Intern Grad to join our team at Walgreens. As a Pharmacy Intern Grad, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, counseling patients on medication usage, and ensuring the proper compounding and dispensation of medications.

• Customer Experience: Engage with customers, provide product and service information, and resolve customer issues in a timely manner.
• Operations: Counsel patients on medication usage, perform pharmacist tasks, and ensure the pharmacy operates in accordance with regulations and company policies.
• People & Performance Management: Assist with staff hiring and training, reinforce pharmacy manager direction, and promote teamwork and motivation.
• Training & Personal Development: Maintain current knowledge and skills related to pharmacy and healthcare, and pursue certifications and education credits as required.

• Willingness to obtain a Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm D) degree from an accredited educational institution prior to the start date.
• Willingness to obtain pharmacist licensure from the respective Board of Pharmacy in the states within the district within 90 days of hire.
• Experience performing prescription dispensing activities that demonstrate a strong working knowledge of applicable state and federal controlled substance laws.
• Certified Immunizer or willingness to become an immunizer within 90 days of hire.
